You will need to complete a six to 12 week certified nursing assistant certificate program along with making sure that you have your high school diploma or GED. You will learn basic nursing skills, physiology, anatomy, infection control and nutrition within the courses that you will be studying.

Once you finish your Nursing Assistant Training, you will have to get your nursing assistant certification so that you will be able to get a job.

The salaries usually range between $23,663 and $29,801 per year and these will depend on the work environment along with any experience that you may have. You will be able to work in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, mental health facilities along with being involved with home health where you visit the patients in their homes.
